• Steerburger’s Grill & Grub
  The Honey Ham Burger at Steerburger’s Grill and Grub was voted by Texas Monthly as one of the Best 50 Burgers in Texas, and once you’ve sunk your teeth into this burger, you’ll understand why.You may imagine the Honey Ham Burger would be too sweet, considering the mound of grilled honey-baked ham slathered with honey-mustard sauce, but this Rockport restaurant manages to keep all the flavors in check.Originally a food trailer located across the street from Drifters Resort, the Steerburgers now has an indoor and outdoor dining area.All their burgers use beef grilled over mesquite-flavored ceramic briquettes back on the screened porch, giving it a flame-cooked taste that a flat top just can’t match.Make sure you have your napkins in hand and in a ready position before the first bite.

• Glow
  Opened in May 2011, Glow is a tiny seafood kitchen inside an old former sailboat repair shop. Chef/Owner Karey Swartwout offers simple seasonal coastal cooking, featuring local seafood as well as Texas game. Glow produces a variety of handcrafted dishes and desserts for takeout based on their house flavors for guests to enjoy at home. There’s also a horseshoe-shaped bar and covered porch and picnic tables overlooking Little Bay where guests can enjoy beer, wine, cocktails and a rotating menu of seasonal small plates. Currently GLOW is continuing to offer takeout items online for curbside pickup as well as window service on our porch. Later this summer they plan to offer private event services for inside.
